Students & Schools
Robotics & AI Discovery Day welcomes students, educators, parents, guardians, and school communities to explore how robotics and artificial intelligence are shaping the future of work, industry, and innovation.
This event gives students the opportunity to experience real technologies, meet the companies building them, and learn more about careers, training pathways, and opportunities across robotics, AI, and advanced manufacturing. The event takes place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on September 16, 2026.
Parents and guardians are welcome to bring children to attend.
School age children attending individually should be accompanied by an adult. The current site guidance also notes that younger children may attend when directly supervised by the appropriate number of responsible adults.
Schools and other large organized student groups must register in advance.
Registration helps our team plan for your arrival and support a safe, well-organized experience. Current event guidance notes that group programming is best suited for high school-aged students and includes activity in the STEM Zone in Hall C as well as guided tours of the exhibitor floor.

This keeps the current intent but removes the unnecessarily rigid “groups of 15 students at a time” detail unless you know that is still operationally accurate for 2026. The current live page includes that number, but it may be too specific if the format changes.
Robotics & AI Discovery Day is designed with a business, technology, and career exploration focus. The event experience is generally best suited for high school aged students.
All school and organized student groups must register in advance so our team can plan for arrival, supervision, and the best possible student experience.
Organized groups of students under 14 are not permitted. Parents and guardians may still choose to attend with younger children, but those children must be directly accompanied and supervised by the appropriate number of responsible adults at all times.
Buses may drop off and pick up students at the East Lobby on 10th Street. After entering the East Lobby, follow signs to Hall C.
Dedicated bus parking is not provided by PRN. Schools should contact the David L. Lawrence Convention Center directly to ask about bus parking options and day-of logistics. More info here.
Limited space is available for schools to store lunches during the event. Please bring lunches in a clearly labeled container, such as a bin, basket, or box, so your group’s lunches stay together in the designated storage area. Because space is limited, please do not include non-lunch items. Personal belongings such as shoes, jackets, backpacks, and other loose items may not be stored in this area.
Schools may bring packed lunches. Please label each lunch container with your school’s name.
Outside restaurant food is not permitted under Convention Center rules. A Convention Center concession stand may also be available onsite. Please note that the facility is cashless, so students who plan to purchase food should be prepared to use an accepted cashless payment method.
Teachers, school staff, and organizers of student groups must register in advance using the Robotics & AI Discovery Day School Group Registration Form.
You do not need to provide student names, but we do need an accurate attendance estimate for students and chaperones so we can plan accordingly.
