Pittsburgh Robotics Network Partners With Joe Zeff Design To Help Region Tell Its Stories

June 3, 2022

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Robotics Network (PRN) announces a strategic partnership with Joe Zeff Design to help the Pittsburgh robotics community share its stories with the world.

Joe Zeff Design is a Pittsburgh-based creative agency that has worked with some of the world’s largest companies, including Amazon, American Express, AT&T, Google, JPMorgan Chase and WPP. Its president, Joe Zeff, draws on experience as a former journalist at The New York Times and TIME magazine and designer and developer of some of the world’s first iPad apps.

“Our mission is to connect the Pittsburgh robotics community — one of the world’s largest and most influential robotics clusters — with commercial opportunities, and Joe Zeff Design helps us develop and amplify our message,” said Joel Reed, PRN Executive Director. “There is tremendous opportunity in Pittsburgh to pursue a career in robotics, invest in world-leading solutions and forge market partnerships. We look forward to telling these stories.”

Joe Zeff Design will work closely with the PRN on strategy, marketing and storytelling, helping the region’s 100+ robotics companies access next-generation tools and techniques to enhance their sales, marketing and training efforts.

“Living away from Pittsburgh, I had no idea how robotics had transformed my hometown,” said Joe, who moved his company from the New York City area last fall following a monthlong experiment he called The Pittsburgh Test. “There are so many incredible stories to be told here about people, companies and institutions, and how their ideas are changing the ways people work, live and move.”

Joe Zeff Design and PRN previously collaborated on an interactive microsite showing the breadth of the local robotics ecosystem. Their strategic partnership is intended to further increase visibility for Pittsburgh-area robotics companies, and help people inside and outside of the region better understand what opportunities exist for professionals, investors and companies to participate in the rapidly growing ecosystem.
