Leading Logistics Robotics Company is the Latest to Join Pittsburgh’s Burgeoning Robotics and Technology Ecosystem
PITTSBURGH (April 13, 2022) — The Pittsburgh Robotics Network welcomes the addition of Plus One Robotics to its network of over 100 companies and leaders in the community. Pittsburgh Innovation District has announced that Plus One Robotics, an internationally recognized robotics company, is opening a new office in Oakland’s Pittsburgh Innovation District. As the company grows its footprint, the city’s expanding robotics ecosystem offers robust opportunities for market growth, recruitment and partnerships with universities.
The company, which uses artificial intelligence and 3D vision to automate robots in warehouses and distribution centers, will make its home in Oakland’s Pittsburgh Innovation District (PID) – a hub anchored by key R&D institutions Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh from May 2022.
