Pittsburgh Robotics Network Enters Global Partnership with Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association

Tuesday night, the Pittsburgh Robotics Network (PRN) joined a strategic alliance with Taiwan-USA Industrial Cooperation Promotion Office (TUSA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association (TAIROA) to strengthen partnership and cooperation in fields of robotics, automation, AI and smart manufacturing-related industries. This new alliance will stimulate the development of cutting-edge applications for market needs. 

Members of each organization signed a memorandum of understanding pledging to provide new opportunities for leading firms to share industrial intelligence and strengthen and reinforce a resilient and safe supply chain. 

The agreement outlines the organizations will cooperate in: 

  • Smart manufacturing-related technology exchange: The parties will hold meetings from time to time to exchange information about their respective policies, market development and advanced technology status or other issues of common concern.
  • Business matching: The parties will establish a matching platform for application technology and business opportunities, focusing on automation, robotics and AI industrial needs and promote further cooperation opportunities among the parties.
  • Deep interaction: The parties will jointly conduct in-depth interaction including bilateral delegation visits, participation in exhibitions and collaboration on conference and forum activities.

This partnership will help connect Pittsburgh’s robotics industry, one of the world’s premier clusters, with a wider global network of leaders and innovators.
