Pittsburgh Robotics Makes Its Mark at the 2024 Robotics Summit and Expo

The Pittsburgh Robotics Network (PRN) is proud to once again partner with and participate in the 2024 Robotics Summit & Expo, demonstrating Pittsburgh’s leadership in robotics on a global stage. This year’s event, set to unfold on May 1st and 2nd at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, serves as a showcase of robotics technology and features conversations that promise to shape the future of innovation.

Pittsburgh Robotics Network executive director Jennifer Apicella will take the stage for a dynamic panel titled “Paving the Road to Success in Robotics Commercialization.” Scheduled for May 1st at 11:30 am in Room 257B, this panel includes fellow robotics leaders Brandon Contino, Co-founder & CEO of Four Growers, and Stephen Muck, Founder & Executive Chairman of Advanced Construction Robotics. Moderated by Andy McMillan, Chair of Cirtronics’ Board of Directors, and drawing on the diverse backgrounds of its participants—from agriculture to construction and entrepreneurship— the discussion will center around crucial industry challenges such as overcoming obstacles, scaling operations, and transforming innovative ideas into market-ready solutions. The audience will walk away from the talk with actionable insights and proven strategies for navigating the complex robotics landscape.

As the Robotics Summit & Expo continues to attract some of the brightest minds and leading companies in robotics, it provides an invaluable platform to learn, share, and connect.
