Job Summary:
As the Quality Technician at Hellbender, you will perform inspections of materials and products throughout all stages of the production cycle. You will help drive continuous improvement projects to bolster production output and improve product quality. To succeed in this position, you must have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to quickly analyze, document, and troubleshoot defects in complex electromechanical systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections throughout all stages of production; conduct checks of supplier components and raw materials; inspect material on the manufacturing line; ensure final products meet quality standards.
- Evaluate data and create reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing quality standards
- Establish and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials or products
- Responsible for maintaining testing equipment
- Help lead process improvement projects
- Collaborate with other departments in various activities and investigations
Qualifications, Skill, and Attributes
- Associate in technical field preferred
- 2+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of standards in electronic components handling preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
- Technical communication skills – must be able to interface with engineering and purchasing
Physical Demands: The physical demands can vary depending on the essential job function. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Must occasionally lift and move parts and supplies, various weights. Visual Acuity: Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Eye protection will be provided if required.
Work Environment: Required to work in a clean room, ESD safe environmental condition. Will be required to wear proper ESD and clean room attire. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume to be heard above ambient noise level. Hearing protection will be provided if required.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
