Job Summary:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the production floor at Hellbender. You will establish workflows and oversee the transfer of prototypes into production; translate and execute project managers instructions; and direct a team of technicians while working to improve efficiency of the production floor. You will also be responsible for leading collaboration and communication with all other departments: supply chain, production planning, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering and product engineering. This is a multifaceted role that requires previous experience with electro-mechanical assembly, process engineering, and team management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train and manage a team of multidisciplinary technicians in a high mix, low-to-high-volume production environment
- Forecast manpower requirement and customer orders to ensure timely completion of production
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for all stages of production
- Interface with supply chain, production planning, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering and product engineering to ensure all departments are fully aligned
- Ensure proper compliance with safety and quality standards as well as company policies
- Collaborate with quality engineers and technicians to ensure the verification and validation of all production runs
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to automated manufacturing equipment
- Develop and lead continuous improvement projects that bolster production output and improve product quality
- Monitor metrics and KPIs of the production floor and develop reports and presentations for senior management team
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
- Experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment required
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting experience with automated manufacturing equipment and/or robotics preferred
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- Willingness to iterate ideas and change directions quickly
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation:
This will be a salaried, exempt position. Compensation to be discussed relative to experience and abilities. This position will be open to the company yearly bonus and retirement savings programs.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
