Near Earth Autonomy
Near Earth Autonomy is creating a future where autonomous flight is commonplace and safe. Our technology enables aircraft ranging in scale from sub-meter to full scale to autonomously transport and inspect. We are serious about system design, development, real-world testing, and delivering useful systems to customers. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help us realize this vision.
We make robots that are made for work. Our approach marries design, software, and hardware to build robots that are capable of doing limitless tasks as part of a blended workforce with people and robots working side by side.

HEBI Robotics produces an agile platform for robotics development. Hardware and software tools that make it possible to create capable and robust custom robots quickly.
Based on technology originally developed at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, HEBI’s platform is used by over 100 academic and industrial research groups around the world. Our long term goal is to enable laborers and subject matter experts with tools to create robots and automation tools as needed in the field. We’re getting there by collaborating with industrial partners on projects that solve real world automation challenges and that advance the technical capabilities of our platform.
At IAM Robotics we deploy cutting-edge AMR technology and cloud-based software that combines artificial intelligence and advanced mobile robotics, allowing our clients to rise above supply chain challenges and their competition.
Home to nearly 100 employees, IAM Robotics includes a team of world-class engineers, supply chain professionals, and technology and automation experts recruited from centers of excellence including Amazon, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, University of Pennsylvania, Honeywell, and others.

Locomation was founded in 2018 by a team of the world’s foremost experts on autonomous vehicles, robotics, and artificial intelligence from Carnegie Mellon’s National Robotics Engineering Center and trucking industry leaders with deep knowledge and experience in every aspect of the trucking business.
We began our journey with middle mile freight automation, the most critical link in the supply chain and the one best suited to integrate human-guided autonomous technology. We’re creating capacity in a world that’s demanding more, faster every day. And from here, we plan to go everywhere autonomous transportation is needed.
Phlux is a robot safety company that is helping humans and robots work together more effectively by making human/robot interactions simpler, safer, and more efficient. Initially targeting collaborative robotics applications in industrial automation, their patented 3D safety sensors replace decades-old 2D technology and enable factories to not only improve safety but also shrink the size of their robot cells and increase the production of their facilities.

Established in 1987, RedZone Robotics has a rich history of robotic innovation. From Chernobyl to 9 Mile Point, and later, Ontario Hydro and Argonne National Laboratory, RedZone established itself as a pioneer in the field of robotics. In 2003, the company pivoted to focus exclusively on wastewater and began work with the City of Pittsburgh to develop a tool for the inspection of large-diameter pipe. As a result, Responder was developed and is still in use by our inspection crews today.
RedZone has continued its history of research and development providing customers with comprehensive asset data including high-resolution 4k video and interactive 3D models. We design with customers in mind.

Voaige is a year old artificial general intelligence research startup based out of CMU working towards making robotic arms smarter and easier to work with. We have a strong and long term focus on building an AI perception and control stack for robotic manipulation systems that is re-programmable on-the-fly by a non-technical person. It is our belief that to approach AGI, AI systems need to be re-programmable on the fly. This is true for all biological intelligence.
