Advanced Construction Robotics
A leading provider of robotic equipment, ACR is transforming the construction industry by filling the skilled labor gap and increasing overall productivity. Our robots give construction firms the ability to consistently meet growing demand, reduce scheduling risks and improve safety. TyBOT®, ACR’s first product, is a rebar tying robot that self-navigates, self-ties, and does not require programming or BIM plan input from the working crew. TyBOT’s partner, IronBOT®, lifts, carries, singulates, and places rebar. Together, TyBOT and IronBOT are cutting rebar installation schedules in half.

Caterpillar has been part of the Pittsburgh technology community for over 30 years. The newly renovated Caterpillar Pittsburgh Automation Center, located in Robotics Row, is an innovation hub.
In just nine years trucks equipped with Caterpillar’s autonomous solutions have hauled over 5 billion tonnes of material nearly 200 million kilometers.
In addition to haul trucks, we have water trucks and drills, and we also have assets like dozers, wheel loaders, and compactors that can be operated remotely from thousands of miles away. For example, one team member can operate up to five dozers at the same time from a remote location thousands of miles away. And it started in Pittsburgh!
Four Growers is a YCombinator-backed, Pittsburgh-based robotics startup that is building robots to feed the world. Sitting at the intersection of hardware and software, we bring together the best and brightest from around the world to create innovative products that redefine the agriculture industry, allowing our customers to feed the world more efficiently and sustainably. Our AI robotic harvesting and analytics platform is deployed in commercial farms across the globe and is bringing sustainable, healthy, affordable produce to everyone.

Near Earth Autonomy
Near Earth Autonomy is building the future of flight! We bridge the gap between aerospace and robotics with complete systems that improve efficiency, performance, and safety for aircraft ranging from small drones to full-size helicopters. Through remote inspection, we can look closely at high-value assets while minimizing downtime. Through advanced mobility, we enable the delivery of needed supplies where current aviation procedures carry significant risk. In these innovations, we seek a firm role in building a safer, more connected world.
Neuraville Inc, is a technology start-up company specializing in developing brains for robots™. Our vision is to have a world where multi-purpose service robots can become intelligent, capable, and affordable enough to become a part of each household or office and fill the gaps. They should also become so safe and reliable that we could comfortably trust them with our loved ones.
Our mission is to help pave the way and make this vision come true within the next decade. Our approach is inspired by nature and empowered by the cutting-edge technologies of the day.
